God’s Prophetic Spirit: Daniel-Revelation.

To Angelica: God’s Prophetic Spirit as seen in the books of Daniel and Revelation and as a reflection and critique of Walid Shoebat’s God’s “War On Terror”
I was going to return Shoebat’s book to you couple weeks ago, without comment or remarks, although I found his views extreme and such I could not freely concur nor condone. But seeing certain posts, and hearing some remarks on the web, and being asked my opinion I thought it best to show my mind and heart in regards to truth in the Bible and God. I have no desire to be public or popular, nor does it matter what a man claims because of this or that since in Christ we are all one and same, and truth and understanding comes from Him without contingent on our studies and endeavors. For though I have no need or desire to be a devil’s advocate for Islam, nor do I regard Muslim above others in any special way, I still must judge myself in what I hear and read of anti-Muslim gossip. I have no credentials to bring forward to substantiate my views and judgment; my words must be judged by scripture and truth with faith and love. The spirit against Islam in defense of Christ and all that relates to Him I would never wish to ban, so long, however that evil in lies and slander is not the stream in which it flows.
As you know I am fond of the Jews for the sake of their Messiah, my Lord and Savior, and having lived with a Jewish family for three years in my teens, and sharing some Semitic blood in my body, I would not want to lend to anti-Semitic terror and persecution. And you know also that I have l learned my craft apprenticed, for three years, to a Palestian cobbler from Ramallah or reverently, Ram-Allah; who in turn was taught shoemaking in Palestine, now Israel, by an Italian Jew. And since I lived in the home of a Christian Palestinian family for a year, it would be unbecoming to speak ill of Palestinians, Christian or Jewish or Muslim, since I know no such personal ill-treatment. Nor can I persuade anyone as a linguist since I am a man of one tongue. Perhaps my only claim for having followed Christ since December 7th, 1969 is that the Bible has ever been a treasured book of God and has ever yielded abundant reward in searching it to find Him. We are at the age in life that years must answer for us, good or bad, when he appears, and what time remains, today, tomorrow, or more, may turn to further opportunity to help and bless here and there.
Lastly, I too, like many Christians, have adopted prophetic views and doctrines that seemed well grounded years ago, but in time have been shown to be wrong. I need not mention groups and individuals for the last 200 years who have come up with many of useless and frustrating schemes of end-times theology. It’s not because there is no prophetic spirit in scripture, but it is not determined by our research and understanding of its’ reality, and not restricted to our times and presence, as if now and not before could these things be. Christ will return according to scripture, but none of us know the day and hour; the prophetic Spirit that speaks in Daniel and Revelation indeed reveals in signs and symbols, in dreams and images, those features of God’s descriptive detail of history in prophetic form and words as spiritually discerned.
“God’s War on Terror Islam, Prophecy, and the Bible A fresh understanding of Biblical prophecy from an Eastern perspective as viewed by ex-Muslim terrorist” by Walid Shoebat and partnered with Joel Richardson, ©2010, Top Executive Media; info at email@example.com. The book consists of some 500 pages, 8 sections, 98 chapters or chaplets, Preface and Acknowledgment, 3 Appendix, and 411 footnotes. The Preface warns against the toleration of criminal Muslims against Christian victims. In the Acknowledgment he presents himself as a Voice like Elijah against the Prophets of Baal; and as Moses with his Aarons. Section I is an Introduction proper of 10 chapters. Sec. II, 40 chaps, shows the Muslim Madhi is the Antichrist, or reverently, anti-Christ. Sec. III, 10 chaps, deals with Christ against the Muslim nations in historic literal Bible predictions and descriptions. Sec, IV, 3 chaps, deals with Western Misconceptions and Allegorical hermeneutics and definitions. Sec. V, 13 chaps, unlocks Allegories in Revelation and Daniel, that Islam and not Rome is the prophetic application. Sec. VI,6 chaps, solves mysteries concerning the Mark of the Beast as Islam Sec. VII, 6 chaps, unlocks the Mystery of Babylon the Harlot as Islam and not Rome. Sec. VIII, 9 chaps, reveals the reality of prophecy of Turkey and not Rome fulfills prophecy as seen in current events. Appendix A is the author’s Testimony and Confessions of an ex-Palestian terrorist. Appendix B treats Muslim Rape Epidemic in the West. Appendix C of Three last Woes against Islam as the Tormentor.
This concludes part one of my reflections on the Prophetic Spirit. Part two will conclude some details in the book, and part three further reflections and considerations. MJM 2011
God’s Prophetic Spirit: Daniel & Revelation. Part 2

To Angelica: Continuation of God’s Prophetic Spirit in Daniel and Revelation, part two, concerning God’s War on Terror.
The brother tells us of his quest for the Holy Grail of the truth of prophecy in understanding the Apocalypse and the treasure in Matthew 13, of solving prophetic puzzles, and finding salvation and eternal life. This book is his diary of his journey. He lists his methods and promises rewards for those who gather all verses, then use literal applications of scripture by Bible symbols interpreted by Bible verses, The result will show, he says, that Islam is the Religion of Antichrist. His definition of Islam is a religion of no-peace; that no other end-times nation is revealed other than Islam; that Christ returns to fight Muslim nations. This is his message and cry and warning to the West and the Church. But there has been many Indy Jones how likewise have ventured out in Biblical search in the search for the times and seasons of Christ return and the identity of the Anti-Christ, and they were not rewarded as they expected.
The second section is the longest and unfolds the Madhi or Medhi of Islam as the Anti-Christ of the Bible. But here I must insert facts from Muslims who are the most devoted messianic Muslims concerning the Madhi and the Quranic problems and controversies related to the Promised One: (The words following are those of Muslims and not mine and I have not altered it to be more palatable to Christian readers.)
” The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, fast growing international revival movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, it spans over 195 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Its current headquarters are in the United Kingdom.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian. Ahmad claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad, like Jesus, to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival. He divested Islam of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings. He also recognized the noble teachings of the great religious founders and saints, including Zoroaster, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Confucius, Lao Tzu and Guru Nanak, and explained how such teachings converged into the one true Islam. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the leading Islamic organization to categorically reject terrorism in any form. Over a century ago, Ahmad emphatically declared that an aggressive “jihad by the sword” has no place in Islam. In its place, he taught his followers to wage a bloodless, intellectual “jihad of the pen” to defend Islam. To this end, Ahmad penned over 80 books and tens of thousands of letters, delivered hundreds of lectures, and engaged in scores of public debates. His rigorous and rational defenses of Islam unsettled conventional Muslim thinking. As part of its effort to revive Islam, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community continues to spread Ahmad’s teachings of moderation and restraint in the face of bitter opposition from parts of the Muslim world. Similarly, it is the only Islamic organization to endorse a separation of mosque and state. Over a century ago, Ahmad taught his followers to protect the sanctity of both religion and government by becoming righteous souls as well as loyal citizens. He cautioned against irrational interpretations of Quranic pronouncements and misapplications of Islamic law. He continually voiced his concerns over protecting the rights of God’s creatures. Today, it continues to be an advocate for universal human rights and protections for religious and other minorities. It champions the empowerment and education of women. Its members are among the most law-abiding, educated, and engaged Muslims in the world. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the foremost Islamic organization with a central spiritual leader. Over a century ago, Ahmad reminded his followers of God’s promise to safeguard the message of Islam through khilafat (the spiritual institution of successorship to prophethood). It believes that only spiritual successorship can uphold the true values of Islam and unite humanity. Five spiritual leaders have succeeded Ahmad since his demise in 1908. It’s fifth and current spiritual head, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, resides in the United Kingdom. Under the leadership of its spiritual successors, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has now built over 15,000 mosques, over 500 schools, and over 30 hospitals. It has translated the Holy Quran into over 60 languages. It propagates the true teachings of Islam and the message of peace and tolerance through a twenty-four hour satellite television channel (MTA), the Internet (alislam.org) and print (Islam International Publications). It has been at the forefront of worldwide disaster relief through an independent charitable organization, Humanity First.
But Shoebat and others present the Muslim Madhi as the Antichrist who completes the Satanic trinity of Allah and Mohammad and Madhi. He is depicted as the antagonist to all truth, and all Bible references to Satan and to the evil one is applied to this Guided Advent. He denies the trinity of the Bible and Church, he deceives and lies, and slanders against truth and Christianity. He will wage war against Jews and Christians and all infidels to subject them by force to Islam. He is predicted in the Bible and Quran as the Antichrist of Islam who will be destroyed by Christ at His return. He is immoral, like Mohamed, he is ascribed Devine attributes in vile behavior, he wars and rapes, robs and invades, manipulates and cons all the world to achieve the Devils designs. It is world domination from Nimrod to Mohammad to Antichrist the Madhi. It is the new Turkey-Iranian war on the true God and Christ, taking the glory and honor due to God and claiming it as his own, for he is the incarnation of Satan himself in his final acts of defiance against Christ.
The author thus goes through many Bible verses and passages to expose the Antichrist and god’s war on him. These Bible references are literal and those which are allegorical reinforce the literal scriptures. All historical references of the Middle East are used to demonstrate and validate the prophetic eschatology in the interpretation and application to Islam and its Antichrist Madhi. Thus all the ancient nations in the Bible are really references to the modern Muslim nations which dominate them: Habakkuk 3; Isaiah 63, 25; Ezekiel 35, and other verses. Micah 5, Joel 2, predicts Christ fights the Muslim nations Isaiah 13, Joel 2, Psalm 50, Matthew 24, Zechariah 14, shows that the raptured saints are transformed to help Christ fight the Muslims. Deuteronomy 18, Matthew 12, Zechariah 14, Joel 2, Isaiah 2, 66, along with Micah 5, Psalm 22, Jeremiah 51, and so forth are tied together with Israel’s rebirth in May 1948, to foretell the final war and salvation. The 7 Allied Nations in Micah 5 are God’s War Shepherds against Islam and Antichrist, as in Daniel 11. The book next develops the incarnation of Lucifer as Satan in a Muslim man in the Muslim world as the Madhi-Messiah; described in Isaiah 14, Matthew 13, Isaiah 9, and others. This Antichrist-Madhi is thus the Assyrian from Assyria. All the nations in Isaiah are modern Arab Muslim nations, Isaiah 19, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29-30, Daniel 7, etc, and thus those passages predict judgment on Islam. Thus references in Ezekiel 28 as in Isaiah 14 are Islam and its Antichrist doom in hell. Simply put the Arabs and the Turks are to be destroyed by Christ and His saints.
The writer continues to interpret and apply verses in the Psalms, and the archaeological miracle of the discovered book of Psalms opened to Psalm 83. He next focuses on Ezekiel 38 that the error of Christian commentators that Rosh is Russia instead of Turkey. He uses Gesenius (misspelt twice as Genseius) and others to unravel the error, but himself is confused about the words and history, he blames the Scofield Study Bible as the origin of hermeneutical error of the Rosh=Russia theory. He extends his word study to Gog and Magog, and to Meshech, Gomer, and Togarmah and Javan, resulting in Turkey fulfills all references, that is, that Gog is “Gok” the Turk from Turkey. He moves on to show that modern Turkey is represented in 4 divisions or boundaries of the ancient Asia Minor of the lands of Turkey. And so the lands of Turkey along with Persia-Iran and Cush of Sudan and Somalia meet Christ in Armageddon to be destroyed with the Antichrist. He is sure of his Gog=Antichrist or we have no Old Testament Antichrist. Ezekiel 38 and 39 thus unites with Revelation 16 and 19. Antichrist thus comes from the true North of Israel not from West or East, but from Turkey, as in Joel 2 and Zechariah 9.
The error, our Indy now corrects, of the common and popular notions and misconceptions of Christians and Jews about the Antichrist, by first dismissing all applications to Europe or America in the prophetic scheme, and to China in the West, and showing those references are to Turkey and Iran-Persia. He decodes Bible Symbolism and Allegorical Figures to unlock the Bible Mystery of the Antichrist from Turkey uniting the Muslim world under the Turk Gog as the Madhi of a revived Islam and a Jihad uniting Iran and Egypt, Jordan and Syria, and all other Arabs and Muslims. His maps so depicts his new interpretation, along revised lists of ancient empires. I make no criticism of his folk etymology on certain Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew words, such as Allah, Islam, and Arab, cases in point. Daniel 2 and 7, with 8 and 11 are matched in the Apocalypse. Thus all Old Testament prophecy interpreted by Matthew 24 reveals Antichrist of Islam. So the final unlocked mystery we are given is the Mark of the Beast and Babylon the Harlot. Islam is the mark, the name, the number, the sign, and the mystery. Islam is the Whore not Rome or Russia. The references speak for themselves. His Testimony is no justification for his position and ministry in those extreme things. Rape is an evil found among too many nations, too many times, for too long. Those who practice it, in war or peace, ancient or modern, Christian or Muslim, religious or infidels, are despicable and worthy of death. Blessed is he who survives beyond the final woe.
Part two is here finished and I take my leave to consider happier reflections in part three next. I have sent a copy also to the author to be fair to him, as a Christian. I should repeat my object to you and all, that I am a Christian who love God and Christ; I do not subscribe to Islam nor the Quran, otherwise, like some, like Cat Stevens, now Yusuf Islam, I would become such, and that is far from me, Yet I would not reject Islam and its Quran merely because I am a non-Muslim, but when and where I must, I will consider, as a Christian in good conscience to God’s testimony in Christ, their message or testimony, with heart and mind, for truth and love’s sake. But I do reject all hatred against others based on grounds that seek to hurt and destroy, kill and maim, in the name of God or man, and reject such as false and wrong as to my own conduct. God must answer for Himself, and if and when He leads a people to war has in those places in the Old Testament, then we are obliged to obey and follow, but that is another story. MJM 2011
God’s Prophetic Spirit: Daniel and Revelation. Part 3
Posted on March 20, 2011 by mjmselim
To Angelica: concluding reflections on God’s Prophetic Spirit in Daniel and Revelation, being part three. For Scripture says by the Angel who spoke to John of the Apocalypse as he fell down to worship him: “See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the Testimony of Jesus: worship God; for the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”
The Book of Genesis brings God to us as the Creator and Maker of all things, and the heavens and the earth and man are all of Him and from Him, and from no other. It is the First of the 5 books of Moses, the Pentateuch and Torah or Law. It records many generations (toldoth) from the Creation to Adam to Noah to the Sons of Noah (Shem, Ham, Japheth) to Shem to Terah to Ishmael to Isaac to Esau to the Sons of Esau (Edom) to Jacob, 11 in all, consisting of the history related to that generation and family. It is not Moses story as witness, nor his collection of facts from ancient records. Moses says he gave to us what he received from God in the Mount for several months and from time to time. The times in Genesis are ancient and archaic; there are many riddles and enigmas; there are mysteries, hidden meanings, and many like things. But Genesis comes from God or it comes to nothing, as creation stands or falls with the Creator, so the Divine Author and Inspiration of Genesis is God, the God of Moses and Israel. If God authored Genesis then the Divine marks and features are all there, line upon line and word after word. God is wise and true, and His book must reveal and conceal many things; He must hide what we must seek; He must uncover what His enemy will cover-up. His intent and design in context and continuity must be simple as well as complex, and shine and shade together. Such a book is Genesis that takes on all challengers and engages all contenders. Moses could never be so adequate, no, not with all Egypt’s learning a thousand fold. From Abram to Moses is the story of a man named Job, no doubt an Arab sheik, seed of Abraham, and many ancient ways and words with ancient customs and culture are shown, with great example and instruction. Such like is Melchizedek the king of Salem; or Jethro (Reuel) the priest of Midian; or Balaam ben-Peor the prophet of Pethor. Thus Genesis is God’s verse and version on history from the creation to the exodus.
In Genesis we learn of God and of the world and of nature and man. His creation, judgment, and salvation all unfold in human history with Divine involvement. His interest and relationship is displayed in countless ways. He is in Scripture God alone true and high, good and great, the All! In Genesis called in Hebrew Bereshith, He is El, Elohim, Eloah or Ellah, which in Arabic is Allah and All’ which developed from Aramaic and ancient Syriac and Assyrian. The Greeks would coin Theos from Zeus, and in turn the Latins or Romans would have Deo and Dios and Deus. The Germans say Gott and we God. The Book reveals the sacred name of YHWH, Jehovah or Yehowah, or Yahweh and Yahu, or simply Yah, which was to be sacred to every God-fearing Israelite, which carried the death penalty for its profanation. He chooses to relate to Israel with the Name which all from respect, call Lord or Adonai or Adon or Adonim. El Shaddai, the Almighty, manifested Himself to mankind in such ways, but to Israel in a different way. He is known among some nations and yet not among others. His ways are not known among most people, and only when He makes Himself known is His ways shown to be in agreement or contrary to man’s. As we trace His manifestation in the Genesis we see that He desires and obtains a people and to them promises by covenant to give the land, and in time He gives them Canaan or Palestine, but in increments, over several hundred years. From Abram to Moses, over 400 years, He prepares His people to possess the land of God, the Holy Land, where He has decided to dwell with His people. Two hundred years of Egyptian service and slavery did not deter is determination, but gave His word from time to time to bring about great deliverance. He chose to be called their God, the God of Abraham, the God of Israel, the Lord God of the Hebrews, the one and only Living God. So He gets His people out of Egypt and brings them by might and fright to the wilderness of Arabia among the Midianites to wean them from the power and ways of Egypt. They spoiled the Egyptians and now God strips them of all the stuff of Egypt. Inside and outside He saves them and teaches them what the God they have found. He nurses them, trains them, by laws and statutes and countless words to perfect in them His reflection. He built with them His Tabernacle and Sanctuary, ordered in all things for the Divine Worship. Thus by Moses in Ten Commandments, Ten Words, with many more words the Book unfolds as a Scroll. The Book of the Law would become in truth the Book of God and in time the Word, the Word of God, having types and symbols, parables and pictures of God’s purpose and counsel.
So we see the words of Noah concerning his sons, the Gentiles, Goyim, the nations, unfolded into the map of the ancient world, of the middle east and Mesopotamia or Padan-Aram, and the Mediterranean Sea and all nations surrounding it will become history and jihad. God must be a Man of War.
So Moses was saved and raised in Pharaoh’s House, and like Joseph before, a Hebrew Egyptian. This Prince of Egypt would become God’s Mouth, His Prophet, the lawgiver, Moses words coming from God becomes the Law of God and the Word of God. In turn and time the people would choose a king like the Gentiles and descendants of Esau and Ishmael and the Canaanites and Philistines and Egyptians. God gives them a shepherd boy instead of Saul, and a harpist of psalms and songs instead of shield and sword, a man after the heart of God. David the Shepherd King would by the prophetic spirit utter the Word of God, from Genesis to Deuteronomy, from Joshua to Samuel, in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Thus the People of God in the Holy Land with the Book of God would be tried and tested to the uttermost. Psalms 1, 19, 119, and the rest manifest the Word. This history of Israel would end in judgment and exile with 70 years of captivity of the House of Judah with the House of Israel dispersed perpetually. Daniel in Captivity, in Babylon under the Chaldeans, then Medes, and then Persians, by the Law of Moses as the Word of God, along with the Prophets and the Psalms of David and other Writings; is now moved by that Prophetic Spirit Which works in the affairs of men to bring about God’s ultimate purpose and fulfillment of His word. Daniel like Joseph and Moses in a foreign house and power is raised up to represent God’s interest and investment in His people and land.
The Book of Daniel is unique in the Hebrew Bible, the Miqra or Tanakh, in that it is numbered not among the Prophetical Books but in the division called the Writings, which consist of 9 books, Psalms to Daniel. Ezra and Nehemiah are one book and Chronicles (Words of Days of the Kings of Israel and Judah) are one book, thus these two books are connected to but severed from the Writings, being treated as Historical and Genealogical Records for the Priest and the House of God. They prepare for the Generations of Jesus the Christ or Messiah. Daniel the prophet thus closes the Old Testament properly and prophetically in the spiritual sense of the Times of the Gentiles. So in Daniel we have God’s people in exile as Lo-Ammi for 70 years sabbatical penalty. Without land, house, temple, priesthood, and all such; they are left to the word and prayers. God enters in Dreams and Interpretations, speaking in visions and signs, symbols and parables. The dreams of men are not the value and treasure but what God and His Spirit has to do with it and makes of it, like Joseph of old. God works and moves in the world and changes it and alters it as He sees best. His people are sold by Him into captivity to punish them for sin and trespass, but He goes with them into their sufferings and sorrows. He would preserve them, save them, restore them, and bless their latter end greater than their former lot. But God must work hidden and wise to win man’s heart, and try men’s souls. Thus in dreams of the night, in visions of sleep and trance, as He has always done with man, so now He speaks and works His wonders. So in the image of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, God shows by Daniel’s interpretation the course of prophetic history and the Gentiles rule in the world as it will affect or effect Israel’s state and place and in God’s fuller purposes in the coming of the Christ Who must rule all nations and subject all to God. It is the awareness and revelation of Messiah that drives the righteous Jews and devoted Israelite to await the perfection of the Divine word. Thus they are driven and compelled by gentile constraint to prayers and studies of the scriptures. And so a new form of the prophetic movement of God’s people arose in the devotion to the Book of God. The scribe like Ezra and Jew like Nehemiah realizes Daniel’s prophecies as history in the return of the exiles and the awaiting the Messiah and the end of Gentile domination. The Sepher of Daniel will continue to appear, in the centuries to follow, till Messiah appears as the prophetic Word of God.
It is the nature of the Spirit of prophecy that the Spirit prophesies in the times to show that history is indeed His-story, and concerns Him. It utters God’s views and renditions of man’s affairs in all his goings and doings. It presents the Word as the Seed and the Man as the Messiah for God to complete His creation in judgment and salvation. All history is a sign and symbol of God’s Christ. The prophetic spirit in us also enters the Divine kingdom and reveals it to others as a witness and a testimony. This Messiah of Israel is seen as the Prophet and as David’s Lord. Like Moses but new, unlike Moses because greater; having a new law and new way with better promises and greater power. He appears as God manifest to Israel. All these things would be confusing before He appeared. Then too, He would appear as Priest and King, in the volume of the Book it is written of His coming to do God’s will. He is hidden and revealed in the sacrifices and offerings, in feasts and fasts, in legal and moral and spiritual signs and symbols of God’s great work of judging and saving man. Israel is a son among God’s children, God’s Firstborn of a new family. The judges were saviors and rulers, raised up for Israel against their enemies. In their demand for a king like to the nations they rejected God and thus Messiah the rightful Heir to God’s throne. David was a poor substitute for Israel’s sins and trespass, just as were the ram of goats or lamb of sheep for the removal sin and conscience.– till the right times, and God deals with their rebellious hearts and stubborn necks. Messiah the Sacrifice and Redeemer must come to fulfill all scripture from beginning to end. The world and His people are all alike in darkness in need of life and liberty, whose prayers and cries to God known and the Unknown, hidden behind and beyond, are united in the need of God’s Remedy and Solution.
All prophecy from Genesis to Daniel and from Daniel to John the Baptist to John the Apostle of the Apocalypse, say the same thing of Christ the fullness of God’s purpose. The Apocalypse is God’s last chapter of all Biblical prophecies, and the law and temple by the Book unites with grace and truth in Jesus Christ. John’s Revelation will take up and enlarge all that Daniel touched, and so complete the prophetic revelation and testimony to the world. John’s Gospel of Jesus as Messiah as the Man and Servant of God , as King and God the Word, and the Father’s Son as the Word of God, is extended in the Apocalypse as the Alpha and Omega of all creation and all nations. It is God the Father Who is the Divine Theologian in the Book of Revelation. For in it the times are divided into three parts, and the Spirit speaks to the churches in signs and symbols and such like to disclose all that relates to God and Christ. It is God’s revelation in signs of prophecy as the final Parable and Picture of History. From Christ incarnation to His return the Apocalypse shows us the fulfillment of all prophecies and those of Daniel the prophet, gathering into one panorama of Divine history. The Scroll unfolds God’s message and understanding of human experience. It finalizes judgment and completes salvation and previews a new creation as New Jerusalem in glory with God and the Lamb. The outline of the book is easy enough to follow, some things are explained, while others are deliberately concealed as in Christ’s parables in the Gospels, and signs and symbols hid in miracles and wonders. The details are contained and are retained in the body of the vision and prophecy, the sense is limited to God’s signification by words and pictures or imagery.
God’s desire is to save and restore man in His great love for the world, His creation, and His Son as the Incarnate Word, is His means and way to recover man gone astray and apostate from God. His apostles and prophets and messengers as servants are sent into the world as His witness and of the father’s love and heart. He is no longer involved with the world as in the Old Testament, but He has changed clothes with a new garment of grace in Christ. His message is clear to all men everywhere to repent and return to God. The Jews rejected this salvation and God turned to the Gentiles, who receiving Christ soon overwhelmed the Roman Empire and spread beyond. The Prophetic Spirit shows all men and nations to give account for their regard of Christ and their treatment of His own. The New Testament and Paul’s letters from Romans to Hebrews develops further, and the conflict between Jew and Gentile grows into persecution and alienation. Yet the Jew as Israel in the Israel of God is united with Gentiles in one body as the church and house of God. Abolished in Christ are all differences and distinctions of enmity and partiality, even to all aspects of human condition.
It is to us as Christians to maintain Christ’s uniqueness and finality in the Divine Word to the world. Even to the Gentiles of Abraham’s loins, whether Arab or Jew, we must uphold the love of God towards all men. If Jew or Muslim reject we offer truth and grace in long-sufferings. Should a descendant of Abraham hate us for following Jesus the Messiah, we must be faithful and loyal to God and His Christ, for He cannot deny Himself. The boast of Abraham’s seed or Abraham as father as the excuse for hate and persecution is of the devil and not of God, for the Scriptures show from ancient times the wicked use such evil pride to fight and assault the good and the weak. But God is wise and great in His goodness and mercy and permits that sword will meet sword and blow for blow till truth prevails in righteousness and holiness till He comes Who will settle all disputes among men. But Abram and the house of Terah were idolaters, and God (Elohim, Allah) separated him from his people. And though Abraham no longer interacted with his relatives beyond the River, yet he fetched thence a wife for his son Isaac, and he himself had Ishmael by Hagar the Egyptian, and sons by Keturah whence Midian and his brethren, from whom with Esau or Edom came many Arab tribes and nations. It is not racial or religious distinctions that breed war and terror among men but our wicked hearts that does to others what we would not want to be done to us. We have not so learned Christ. If Jew or Arab or any man any place wish not to have God’s Christ we pray or hope they will reconsider while we attend to our own house and steps. In regards to the powers and governments, if a man or a nation wishes to be cruel and vile and wicked then God ever watchful in the affairs of men to safeguard His concern will unleash His own power at and against the wicked whoever they be. God is not partial but fair even to His enemies, but the Apocalypse shows the end of all. The Arab has been prophetically promised to possess the desert and wilderness of Arabia, they will and have broken their master’s yoke, and they are the wild donkey (camel) of Arabia. God or Allah has given a Poem and a Song in the Desert, and with sword and buckler they subdued idolatry among the children of Abraham. They must fulfill God’s place for them and all the oil or ploy of the other peoples and nations will not break scripture. They must dwell alone until the times of the Gentiles end, and if they misbehave they trouble their own house, and if we meddle with them we will smart for it.
We, the People of the Book, Jews and Christians, are bound to Messiah and Christ, and the Muslim who proclaim God as Allah must watch us as we watch him. The hypocrisy and lies, and all such, if found, God will require it, in Christ, in the day of judgment; for the Times of the Gentiles are determined by God, and we are all awaiting His intervention and presence in the world. The Bible witnesses of God that He has sent His Son into the world to save and rule, and that the nations will not submit, for the inward rule must precede the outward, and they must kiss the Son in obedience to obtain the blessing. But if they reject the present rule of grace and mercy, they have the reward of flesh lusts with hate and enmity, filled with lies and wickedness, and abandoned to and addicted to countless things of darkness and destruction and death. God has winked at man’s evil times, but His Eyelids will soon open and the Apocalypse will be completed in the consummation and restitution of all things spoken by all the prophets from Genesis to Revelation. At the present the Father only sees His Son.
This is the Spirit of prophecy found in the Holy Bible, both Old and new Testaments, and sent into the world to draw all men to God in Christ. We have only one message and one work as Christians, namely Christ as All, to God and man. God uses each one as He sees fit and all are unique to God, the Master Craftsman, Who delights in all difficult cases and problems. His ability to fix and repair is second to none. He is the First and Foremost of restoration and regeneration, the Master Converter; nothing and no one is beyond His wisdom and saving. Our great commission in this life and living is to please Him by offering Christ to the world as God’s Very Best. When we knowingly and willfully set up ourselves and our words, our choices and pleasures, in any and all cases, to subvert and substitute Christ, then and there we have the spirit of anti-Christ against God.
